Beyond the ordinary
Who We Are
Our Bible study was born from a simple realization: the world around us is changing at an unprecedented pace, and many believers feel unprepared for what's coming. We started gathering to answer one crucial question: "What does the Bible say about the times we're living in?"
What began as a small group of concerned Christians has grown into a community of believers who are committed to being spiritually vigilant and biblically grounded. We come from different backgrounds and perspectives, but we share a common desire—to understand our times through God's Word and to be ready for whatever lies ahead.
We don't claim to have all the answers, but we're asking the right questions. And we're doing it together, supporting one another as we navigate an increasingly complex world with biblical wisdom and courage.
Purpose We exist to prepare believers for the times ahead by examining current world events through the unchanging truth of God's Word.
Our Values
- Biblical Authority: Scripture is our foundation and final authority
- Spiritual Readiness: We prioritize preparation over panic
- Open Dialogue: We welcome honest questions and respectful discussion
- Practical Faith: We apply biblical truth to real-world situations
- Community Support: We grow stronger together than alone
Our Commitment We're committed to remaining alert, biblically informed, and spiritually equipped—not living in fear, but in faithful readiness for whatever God allows in our generation.
How We Study
1. Gather & Connect (10 minutes) We begin with fellowship and prayer, creating a welcoming space for honest conversation.
2. Identify the Issue (15 minutes) We present a current world event or trend, providing context and background to ensure everyone understands the situation.
3. Search the Scriptures (30 minutes) Together, we explore relevant Bible passages, discussing what God's Word teaches about the principles, values, and wisdom that apply to the issue.
4. Discuss & Discern (20 minutes) We engage in open dialogue, sharing perspectives and wrestling with difficult questions in light of Scripture.
5. Apply & Act (15 minutes) We identify practical ways to respond—in our attitudes, relationships, communities, and prayers—based on what we've learned.
6. Pray Together (10 minutes) We close by bringing our concerns and commitments before God, asking for His guidance and strength.
Direct and Clear: "The overall purpose of the Bible study is to prepare us for future events so we won't be caught off guard, but instead will be spiritually equipped and ready to respond with biblical wisdom."
More Scriptural Tone: "The overall purpose of the Bible study is to prepare us for what lies ahead, ensuring we are watchful, discerning, and grounded in God's Word rather than caught off guard by unfolding events."
Emphasizing Readiness: "The overall purpose of the Bible study is to equip us with biblical insight and understanding so we can anticipate and navigate future events with confidence, rather than being taken by surprise."
With a Prophetic Edge: "The overall purpose of the Bible study is to prepare us for the times ahead by understanding biblical prophecy and principles, so we can face future events with spiritual awareness and readiness rather than fear or confusion."
Action-Oriented: "The overall purpose of the Bible study is to prepare us for future events by building our biblical foundation now, so when challenges arise, we'll be ready to stand firm rather than be shaken or caught unprepared."
